2026 - Week 4 |
||
|
Hello
Welcome to the weekly breakdown of Street Crime and goings on in Custom House. lets start with some good news. I can confirm that the suspected brothel in Hammersley Road is no longer in operation. I would like to thank the residents of Kier Hardie estate for all their great intel and communications.
CRIME: There have been 3 thefts from vehicles: Two sets of car numberplates were stolen in Hoskins Close and Gresham Road. And an exhaust pipe was stolen from outside Scott Wilkie Primary.
Sadly we did have four cycle enabled phone snatches from pedestrians this week 23/01/2026 – PR Lane 24/01/2026 – Young Road 28/01/2026 – Freemasons Also on the 24/01/2026 a Bag on a bench was swiped in Cundy Park.
Something new for us in Custom House - on 26/01/2026 a car charger was stolen in Butchers Road and another was stripped for its copper in Fife Road on the 25th. We will be keeping an eye on this to see if it becomes a trend.
No Burglaries, Robberies or Street Violence was reported.
I'm very sorry this came a couple of days late. the team was off at the turn of the week.
Until next week, keep looking out for each other. Be Good, Have Fun & Stay Safe
